About Me
My Background
My name is Jaclyn and I have a strong passion for the arts! I graduated from Rowan University with a BA in K-12 Education and a BA in Fine Art. I also completed the Online Teaching Certification from Rutgers University and Photo Arts Studio where I became a Certified Professional Photographer and an Adobe Certified Specialist. In addition, I've obtained Cake Decorating certifications in icing, fondant, and sculpting from Wilton Methods as well as my Online Teaching Certification from Rutgers University. Recently, I completed my MFA in Media Design and a certificate program for Visual Design at Full Sail University.
Currently, I teach Graphic Digital Arts and Photography at Hammonton Middle School in New Jersey. In addition, I am the Photography Club Advisor and the Community Communications Advisor where I take photos, design graphics, do brand development, copywriting, and produce videos. Each of my extra curriculars effectively enhances my creativity and design abilities. I am constantly growing and learning about new technologies out there to better myself as an artist, teacher, and designer. Because of this, I became a Google Certified Educator and excel in most Apple products, which broadened my knowledge.
